Congratulations to Hickory! Hickory was saved in a different shelter because we were begged to rescue him. He was a staff favorite and as soon as we saw his eyes we simply could not resist! He has a very special soul; it’s hard to explain unless you meet him. His new family in Milton, Vt was very persistent (especially Kayleigh, about wanting to adopt Hickory and they did! We could tell they were the loving and compassionate family he needed. He now enjoys a 4 legged energetic brother and a huge family of 3 generations of love with a fenced in yard to run around and play in! This boy has captured the heart of every person that has met him and we are so happy we were the rescue chosen to save him! Special thanks to our rescue Angels in Chesterfield County, SC who were relentless in their quest to save him and Kathryn H, his Vermont foster Mom Marna E. and family; plus all of our rescuers along the way that assisted in this boy’s journey home. Thank you to his new family for adopting him; Heidi, Jody, Kayleigh & her boyfriend, the children, and Grandma! We love you Hickory!!
