Zeus is 10 months old (approx. DOB 9-1-19), male, 62 lbs., vetted, is or will be neutered, and micro-chipped. Zeus is a very sweet boy!! He is crate trained, loves to go for rides in the car, seems to be potty trained, does not seem to exhibit a prey drive toward smaller animals, and does not like to be left alone. He has only meet a few dogs, and still has a lot of work to do to understand dog language, but he has been very interested and friendly every time he has been around another dog. He is nervous around new people in general, male or female. But it starting to come out of his shell! While nervous he is very interested in the world, starting to go up to new people to say hi cautiously and did not mind hanging out around a working excavator. We think once Zeus gets settled and used to another dog he will enjoy having a companion but that is just a guess. He does want to be social, just does not know how yet. We think he could learn from a well balanced family dog He is a little mouthy still (like a puppy), but improving. He will benefit from a solid schedule and someone that can teach him to relax in the house. Zeus has medium energy, is learning well how to walk on a leash, is a quieter boy, knows Sit, Paw, and is working on Down. He does know Come… when he wants to… He is new to the world, before I had him he was never socialized as all. He is learning, and will be a great dog! Zeus is starting over and needs someone consistent and calm.
