Yoda is 18 months old, female (approx. DOB tbd), 65.8 lbs., vetted, is or will be spayed, and micro-chipped. When we saved Jack Frost from this NC shelter we were smitten with Yoda, well fell in love, and couldn’t leave her there! Her owner surrendered her because they couldn’t afford to keep her anymore 
We were already picking JF up so………. That face and that underbite……….. eeeek! When we asked for a kennel approach video it was clear that she had given up hope. People walk by and no one stops for her. We think she’s been waiting for her family to come back and get her. She gives a little wag after time but doesn’t even get off her bed to come say hi. Yoda assessed well with other dogs at the shelter, may be good with cats (all cat/dog relationships are different), has medium energy, is social, appears to be potty trained, and her happiness is contagious. She doesn’t give up because she knows there are better days to come. Stay tuned for more information as Yoda is a new rescue!
