Teddy is 4 years (approx. DOB tbd), male, 12 lbs., vetted, is or will be neutered, and micro-chipped. Teddy’s owner can no longer keep him due to medical considerations; Teddy, in his mind, has had the role of being her caretaker/protector. We want him to be relieved of his duty and be a carefree happy pup with no stresses! He would do best in an experienced, patient home with another dog/dogs (Teddy has been submissive), older kids if any, and no cats (he currently lives with too many cats and they give him severe anxiety)! In his current home he is cautious with new people and has not had a lot of exposure to strangers but with proper introductions has done well! Teddy prefers a bigger crate; not small. He is potty trained, doesn’t chew, and knows “drop it”. His ideal home would Ideal home would be someone who has experience training, can provide a calm environment, doesn’t have cats or small children, limited visitors, and has the ability to walk him and play with him (enrichment) regularly each day.
Teddy’s loves: Small squeaky toys, car rides, bacon, scrambled eggs, his big kennel, his raised bed and his blanket. Once he gains the trust of the owner he likes to cuddle on the couch and snuggle. Stay tuned for more information as Teddy is a new rescue!
