Stella is 4 years old (approx. DOB tba), female, 44 lbs., vetted, is or will be spayed, and micro-chipped. Stella was found homeless and scared in NC in a neighborhood for 2 weeks with a leg wound! A concerned citizen was able to help her and brought her into the shelter in hopes of getting help! Her leg has healed very nicely! She is a very shy girl and scared in boarding; and of course being homeless can be so scary for a dog especially with an injury! We also think she was a mom at one time; we love our momma dogs! We can’t wait to get her to Vermont. We think she would do best in a rural area, with another dog/dogs, and older kids (younger kids have unpredictable energy which can overwhelm a dog). Stay tuned for more information as Stella is a new rescue!
