Spruce is 2 years old (approx. DOB tbd), male, 51 lbs., vetted, is or will be neutered, and micro-chipped. Spruce was found homeless in SC and was not claimed by anyone so his time was up due to being very scared at the shelter. He just would shake in fear and needed to be carried. He started to wag his tail in his kennel and outside. His freedom day wasn’t a freedom walk but rather a freedom “cart” ride! He is a very very sweet boy who would do best with another dog for comfort in a compassionate and patient family that would give him the time he needs to come out of shell. We think he may be ok with cats. Stay tuned for more information as Spruce is a new rescue!
