Shorty is 3 years old (approx. DOB 2-19-17), female, 30 lbs., vetted, is or will be spayed, and micro-chipped. Shorty is sweet & petite! Shorty loves to go for car rides, loves her foster canine brother, does not seem to exhibit a prey drive toward smaller animals, and is a love bug! Shorty is a bit fearful of males, has lower energy and is doing great with her leash training!
From her Foster: “Shorty is just so fearful and nervous so sometimes, that my dog has really helped her warm up to new people and my parent’s dog who lives on the property. My pup has helped Shorty learn how to be comfortable in the house and feel safe. They cuddle a lot on the couch and they like to sleep together or near each other. They’ve definitely bonded, but I kind of feel like Shorty would do just fine without another dog in the home now that she knows “how to dog.” She is the cuddliest, most lovable dog I’ve ever met. She really just wants to spend time with her person and be as close as possible!
Shorty’s best home would have another dog and no little kids (could make her more scared). Shorty loves her soft toys (will remove stuffing lol), knows Sit, and is a quieter girl. Stay tuned for more information as Shorty is a new rescue!
