Scooby is 2 years old (approx. DOB tbd), male, 95 lbs., vetted, is or will be spayed, and micro-chipped. Scooby is our miracle dog and we are so lucky he wasn’t left behind! As soon as the shelter called us to let us know they had him we were not going to say no! He was found very neglected, uncared for, and emaciated as were his fur siblings who were previously brought to Vermont and were adopted together! He weighed only 60 lbs when found! Since being rescued he has accumulated 30+ more lbs! Scooby has lived with other dogs (all the while a sheltered life), is fearful/insecure with new people, is very dedicated to his human, loves an outside fenced area, and laying in the sun! He is is treat motivated to make friends and once he knows you he is fine. He would do best in a rural experienced home. Stay tuned for more information as Scooby is a new rescue!
