Sady is 5 years old (approx. DOB 10-12-15), female, 36 lbs. (needs to gain weight), vetted, is or will be spayed, and micro-chipped. she was taken to the shelter with Jenny and Tiffany who were in her previous home who was no longer able to care for them. These 3 girls are beautiful; but they will be even more beautiful when they gain weight and their fur fills in from some TLC! Sady’s ideal home would have another dog and experience to provide her with structure so she can just be a happy puppy! She enjoys snoozing on the couch most weekdays, has had no destructive or anxious behavior, and has medium energy.
From Sady’s caretaker: Sady is curious and gentle and snuggly, loves to give kisses, and is good with other dogs and cats (though no rambunctious puppies or adolescent dogs who haven’t learned about boundaries, please). She walks well on leash, likes meeting new people, and is chill in a variety of new situations — when I take her into stores she flops down on the floor like she lives there.
Sady needs a home where she won’t be left alone more than 2-3 hours a day, with a loving human who will keep up her training around separation anxiety — she’s made huge strides on this already! Sady’s ideal home would have another adult dog for her to hang out with, though she’d do well as a solo dog too.
