Rudy is 6 years old (approx. DOB tbd), male, 42 lbs., vetted, is or will be neutered, and micro-chipped. Rudy was abandoned at the shelter by his owner at 6 years old. He was very scared, confused, and fearful at the shelter; he didn’t know why he was there. He seems sensitive and heartbroken; an old soul. We’ve been told Rudy was crated often and this was very difficult on him. Let’s show him true love! We think Rudy would do well in an experienced calmer home that will give him the patience and empathy he deserves to learn to love again and a home where someone is with more often than not. At his SC foster home Rudy is potty trained, low energy (may be ok w cats), good on leash, not destructive, and currently a quieter timid boy.
From his SC foster 9-16-21 “He’s really come out of his shell yesterday!! He’s running up to me and my husband for petting!! He’s doing great He’s great off leash!! (we dont recommend that in the beginning) Running and playing with my dog!! Wow he’s really doing better!!”
