**HEARING IMPAIRED**
Rosa is 4 years old (approx. DOB tba), female, 75 lbs., vetted, is or will be spayed, and micro-chipped. This sweet girl was found as a homeless stray with heat exhaustion and was brought into the shelter. The shelter staff said she is not reactive to cats and was very tolerant of her exam! It was not noticed by anyone until our Team made a visit to NC. When she was out in the yard we noticed she did not seem to hear us but that didn’t stop her loving kisses and playful bouncing around the yard! She is such a pretty, happy, and playful girl!
From her Foster Mom in their home: Rosa loves everyone she meets. She ignores cats, loves all dogs big and small, and thinks every person is her very best friend. She knows how to sit, is house broken and crate trained, and is constantly improving on staying out of trouble when being left alone loose in the house. She is hearing impaired but not totally deaf. Rosa responds very well to a whistle and even does great off leash. She gets exuberant in new places and meeting new people but it’s only to bounce around and give kisses. She’s a total couch potato at home and is actually quite lazy. Rosa isn’t very vocal at all. We’ve been fostering her for 5 weeks and have only heard her bark a handful of times (it’s usually when she’s telling you she wants to keep playing or isn’t ready to come inside yet). She is probably the friendliest dog you’ll ever meet! She was rescued as a stray in the south and had heat exhaustion and the pads on her paws were burnt off. She’s very appreciative of the little things in life and is ready to find her forever family which could be just about any household. Stay tuned for more information as Rosa is a new rescue!
