Renesmee is 13 months old (approx. DOB 2-2-18), female, 28 lbs., vetted, is or will be spayed, and micro-chipped. This poor girl was found in a neglect situation. Per the Shelter staff: The owners that had Renesmee were not caring for her. They had 7 more dogs on the property but she was the worst and the only one they would surrender. She’s a timid sweet girl and she’s coming out of her shell. In the shelter she was curled up in corner on kennel approach, very fearful. She had to be carried to the exam room and she just stood frozen in fear. She did not like to be approached, she would freeze and have whale eyes. She wouldn’t eat when the techs were near her. She has more confidence when out of the kennel area. She enjoys laying in the quiet office looking out the window. She shows no signs of fear reaction at all. Rene is sweet but will jump with uncertainty when shown affection.
Since leaving the shelter this petite sweet has been doing great; she is happy, playful, and so grateful for already a better life! Stay tuned for more information as Renesemee is a new rescue!
