Pixie is 2 years old (approx. DOB 3-9-20), female, 36 lbs., vetted, is or will be spayed, and micro-chipped. Her picture makes her look bigger than she is but we had to use it because she is so pretty! She was found as a homeless stray in NC. Pixie’s name fits her! She is a low riding pocket petite sweet, young and fun little girl; her happiness is contagious! When her little tail gets wagging so quick it’s adorable! And her short little legs …………precious! Pixie does well around other dogs on leash but needs help understand social cues from others. She does exhibit a prey drive so no cats please! Pixie has medium energy, is social with adults, is crate trained, potty trained, has not shown any resource guarding of toys or food, or an separation anxiety. She knows Sit, Come, Heel, Lay, Here, and would do best in a home without children who make her nervous and insecure. Pixie is a calm, loving, and a great dog. She loves to walk, play fetch, and loves to cuddle. She likes toys and is food motivated. Pixie’s best home would have adults only that like to have a balance of being active and relaxing. She loves to get out and run and walk but also likes her downtime!
