Pixie is almost 4 1/2 years old (approx. DOB 10-10-16), female, 15 lbs., vetted, is or will be spayed, and micro-chipped. Pixie was found homeless in NC and brought to the shelter. Pixie is good with other dogs, likes to ride in the car, does have a prey drive toward smaller animals so cats probably not a fit nor small children running around, she is house trained, and has medium+ energy. She like to be with her humans, She loves to run, loves to sleep on soft bed and blankets, loves treats, loves to snuggle, loves to have her own space, she likes to chew her toys, Pixie knows Sit, Come, Off, and Go to your Room! Pixie’s best home would be experienced (in her current dynamic she can be possessive of her space/toys, etc), active for her energy, have another dog (she’ll do her best and be her happiest), no young children (the make her nervous and stressed), and where her humans would love her furever! At her current caretaker’s there are a 1 year old and 3 year old children which Pixie is too stressed and not happy there. Stay tuned for more information as Pixie is a new rescue!
