Patrick is 11 mos. old (approx. 6-25-18), male, 34 lbs., vetted, is or will be neutered, and micro-chipped. Patrick is house trained he is very comfortable with a crate; but loves furniture. He has low/medium energy, which is a surprise given how puppy-like he is. He is a cuddle! He likes to be near (very near) his human pals and wants lots of contact. Patrick is good with other dogs. This sweet boy sat at the shelter for Adoption with no takers being overlooked! So much innocence and beauty does NOT belong in a dark, wet kennel for weeks on end. He’s black and was hard to see in the area was he’s kept. He’d gotten no attention there and his submissive demeanor reflected that. The shelter volunteer showed him off to a great potential adopter who, sadly, wanted a frou-frou dog. So back Patrick went into the abyss. As soon as we saw him we couldn’t resist; we were told he was Adoption only but were able to pull some strings to get this boy out! He is gentle, affectionate, playful, adorable, and endearing.
