Panachel is 3 years old (approx. DOB 9-16-19), male, 45 lbs., vetted, is or will be neutered, and micro-chipped. We found Panache in a shelter while visiting North Carolina; he was sad in his kennel because no one wanted him because of his look. Day after day potential adopters would walk by him to get to the “lookers” and puppies. We knew he stood little chance of making it out of there so we told him how handsome he is and that we would save him♥ Panache is a shy reserved boy that seems confused. Per the shelter: Panache is a calm laid back boy, walks well on a leash, doesnt jump, and is happy to relax with his humans. He was chosen to go through the shelter’s Vet Tech program and be “patient” for the student’s lessons. They reported he is a very sweet and friendly dog. He cant wait to settle in a new furever home!
From his new Vermont Foster: “He is sooo adorable! And those ears ❤️❤️ He’s building trust and confidence and can actually maintain eye contact for a good bit of time after only 2 days here in Vermont. We’ll see how he does with snow – he’s pretty skinny. He LOVES people and kids, and has no interest in my cats or chickens (although it may change as he gets more confidence). He knows sit, down, paw and is house broken. Walks well on leash. He was totally freaked out in the crate, but was fine home alone (all doors closed). He’s very happy chilling in the couch, and has a LOT of energy – would make a great running buddy……….he is a great boy!”
