Nova is 2 years old (approx. DOB tbd), female, 61 lbs., vetted, is or will be spayed, and micro-chipped. Nova is the victim of an eviction; our rescue partners in SC picked her up an an abandoned property. Nova lived with other dogs and cats!
Her current caretaker says Nova loves all humans, is good with other critters and has low-medium energy. If other dogs bark at her she will just tuck her tail and run. She wants nothing to do with a dog that might be aggressive toward her; aka she is submissive. It will take Nova about a week to fully adjust to her new surroundings and a new schedule. Nova wants to be with her human/s all the time so a home that would not leave her alone often is preferred. She is not destructive and not overly vocal. She will just pace and fret but does settle down after a bit of time. She loves attention and soaks it up; snuggles, hugs and cuddles once she has settled in is what she loves. In return she will give endless kisses. She will deconstruct a squeaky toy in a short time (as most dogs do) and has not showed much interest in balls, she is not showing to be an escape artist and does not test her fencing!
