Nora is 4 years old (approx. DOB 1-10-16), female, 55 lbs., vetted, is or will be spayed, and micro-chipped. Nora was found abandoned and homeless in NC; no one every came to get her. She has the cutest pibble smile 
Per the shelter staff Nora is shy in new situations but is quick to warm up. She will give play bows (appropriate play stay with other dogs), gets the cutest zoomies, and will roll over for belly rubs. She is good with other dogs, doesn’t yet know how to play with toys and ignored the cats in the exam room (may be good with cats).
From his Vermont foster after a couple of days: “Nora is a super sweet and cuddly 4 year old girl. She gets adorably excited at times (play now, jumping in circles) and LOVES her humans but can also be a total couch potato and does well when left unattended. In just the past 24 hours we have learned sit and are working on lay down. She didn’t originally understand the concept of receiving treats but has become much more food motivated since I started working on training with her. Her leash training could use some work but once she knows you a bit better she certainly pulls a lot less. She still hasn’t really understood the concept of toys – she licks her squeaky stuffed animals and holds her tug toys in her mouth. She’ll be your shadow around the house and if you sit down, it’s only a matter of time before shes laying across you! She truly is a sweet sweet girl who deserves a loving home.”
