Maddie is approx. 24 mos. old (approx. DOB 1-30-19), female, 40 lbs., vetted, is or will be spayed, and micro-chipped. In her current foster home Maddie is good with dogs (as you can see from her pics), does not exhibit a prey drive, is good with kids (always educate your kids with dogs), has low-medium energy, is crate trained, and is a quieter girl! Maddie can be nervous with new situations, but once she figures it out she’s confident. She is great riding in the car but she’s not so sure about jumping in and is hesitant to jump out. She’s great once in her crate but doesn’t like to go in. Maddie is generally a very quiet girl, but if she hears an unfamiliar she will bark (like most dogs). She’s particular with treats for training but hotdogs have worked great! Maddie has learned ‘sit’ but is working on other basic commands such as ‘no’ ‘off’ ‘lay down’ etc. Maddie enjoys the occasional chew toy but is overall a very low-key girl. She mostly loves to be snuggled up on the couch or sit by your side however she does engage with her foster siblings to play. Maddie has done well with her two high energy foster siblings. She’s not afraid to tell them to leave her alone if she’s feeling bombarded and annoyed. Maddie would likely do best with another dog that’s similar energy level and willing to wrestle occasonally, but really she’d do well in just about any household. She’s a great pup with all the love in the world. She is a young pup with an old soul
