Lyra is 7 months old old (approx. DOB 1-1-20), female, 35 lbs., vetted, is or will be spayed, and micro-chipped. Lyra is part of a Vermont surrender case with her family (Tonya, Rachel, Aspen, Montana, Lyra, Dakota, and Copper). Lyra is still a young pup and needs all of the basics a puppy needs for training. She is an incredibly smart girl and has learned alot already! The family is proving to have a prey drive so no cats please! Lyra’s idea home would be a home that is experienced, active, and secure. Also she will need someone to keep her mind exercised as well given her suspected breed mix of Shepherd and Husky. This is VERY important for her happiness and balance. Lyra is pretty relaxed and loves to sleep/cuddle (belly rubs are her favorite). She does well with training when there are no distractions and has learned to love treats and toys! She would be best in a home that can exercise her throughout the day and owners who are patient with her and can return the love she is willing to give. Her favorite place to be is outside on the porch or laying in the lawn-a fully fenced in porch or yard would be a bonus she would absolutely love. Stay tuned for more information as Lyra is a new rescues!
