Lucy is 2 years old (approx. DOB 8-27-18), female, 48 lbs., vetted, is or will be spayed, and micro-chipped. Lucy was found neglected in SC and our Rescue partner talked the owner out of her. She was extremely emaciated. She had given birth to 3 puppies on the property; none of which survived. Despite her horrible situation she is such a happy sweet girl that gets along with everyone! Lucy’s best home with be with another dog to play with. She has medium+ energy, loves to be outside, and gets the zoomies! She is crate trained, does well with kids, likes to go for rides in the car, is potty trained, and is a quieter girl. Her fosters say Lucy is a total lover. She loves attention, both giving and getting. They think she would be best in a home where she has another dog as a companion and/or a family with kids that will give her some extra love. She would do best with a family that is active because she can have some higher energy at times.
