Lucas 6 years old (approx. DOB 10-30-15), male, 51 lbs., vetted, is or will be neutered, and micro-chipped. Shelter staff said Lucas loves belly rubs! Lucas loves to run, play with his ball (as in the video), and is a very happy bubbly boy! Lucas will do best in a home without other dogs or cats; although he plays great with his submissive dog friends (with proper introductions). He literally loves every person that he meets, welcoming total strangers into his foster home, even the cleaning lady! He would enjoy a rural setting with an experienced active adopter. From his VT Foster family: Lucas is good with dog friends with proper introduction; doesn’t like cats, but loves humans of all ages (does very well with children…..and horses!). He is crate trained, potty trained and has no sign of separation anxiety. Lucas loves his walks and hikes and he does well on leash. He knows basic commands such as Sit, Off and Leave It. Lucas is very sweet and loving; very easy going and would love a forever best friend! Stay tuned for more information as Lucas is a new rescue!
