Kona is 6 1/2 years old (approx. DOB 7-29-13), male, 40 lbs., vetted, is or will be neutered, and micro-chipped. Kona was adopted as a young puppy; he is crate trained (but doesn’t like it yet), likes to go for car rides, does have a prey drive (no cats please), is potty trained, and is a quieter boy! Unfortunately Kona did not transition well when the family’s 1st baby was born; it seems he is a little jealous/insecure according the the info we have thus far………..and now they have a 2nd baby due on the way any day! We believe this is going to add more stress and anxiety for Kona so we feel he would be happiest in a different home. His current caretakers have not sought additional training to help him; we are ok with this because we are going to find him a less stressful home. He has low-medium energy, knows Sit/Wait/Leave It and Down. Kona loves his naps,and loves to de-stuff toys (what dog doesn’t?)! Kona does not care of doggy daycare – he separates himself from the other dogs. He is particular about what dogs he likes and would do best in an active home with Intermediate or more experience!
