Hope is 2 years old (approx DOB 4-12-17), female, 57 lbs., vetted, is or will be spayed, and micro-chipped. Hope was found tied to a street sign in an affluent neighborhood in SC……….abandoned. She gets along with the other dogs at daycare and seems to be happier with the office dogs in a smaller group. In the play yard she seemed sad and just sat in the corner so the staff let her be another office dog! She does seem to have a prey drive so cats etc. probably not a fit for this beautiful girl! From her caretakers at daycare in SC: “She’s a quiet low energy pup, and only really makes noise at bikers that pass by. No concerning behavior. Lovely dog who just wants to sit in close proximity to a human.” Now that Hope is in Vermont, her current foster says Hope is great with other dogs and loves all humans big and small. She is low-med energy and knows basic commands “sit”, “down”, “Come”, and walks well on leash. Hope loves car rides, and long hikes or jogging. “Hope is an extremely loving dog”. Stay tuned for more information as Hope is a new rescue!
