Griffin is young almost 2 years old (approx. DOB 9-10-18), male, 36 lbs., vetted, is or will be neutered, and micro-chipped. Griffin is a shy fearful dog in new situations and people. He is crate trained (good in the crate), quiet, likes car rides, no cats, and chewing on bones! Griffin is fearful towards new people and new situations; he bonds very strongly with 1 person. He needs space and time to warm up to people. Once he’s got you figured out he’s an absolute love bug. Griffin does like to play with other dogs once he’s comfortable. Griffin loves to play in the yard and then come inside and chew on a bone on a dog bed. He loves his crate; it is his safe space. He will nap in it when no one is home and enjoys chewing bones in his crate. Griffin is a very sweet boy. He has had a tough past and does have some walls up, once you get through those walls he’s an absolute sweetheart! Won’t you be his Hero? Griffin’s Ideal home: another well balanced dog, no small kids (he is introverted and likes calm environments), adopters with Intermediate experience level, fenced yard a plus, and a home that will let him just be Griffin and fly under the radar!
