Gingerbelle is 2 years old (approx. DOB tbd), female, 40 lbs., vetted, is or will be spayed, and micro-chipped. Gingerbelle is boonie dog from Guam!
Good with Dogs? Yes
Good with Cats? Unknown
Has a prey drive? No
Good with smaller kids (mouthy, nippy, jumpy, chase, scared)? Amazing with kids.
Energy Level (low, low-medium, medium, medium-high, or high)? Low-medium
Scared of people or socially outgoing? Paces when she’s getting used to her environment
Scared of men or no experience? Seems to be more scared of men when kids are involved. My husband was gone most our fostering experience and was very scared of him when he got back. But other men with no kids around she was fine.
Needs another dog in the home (if scared of people), ok as only, or either way? Fine as only dog.
Crate trained? Yes, although hard to get her in sometimes.
Does he/she like the crate? She’s fine after initial entrance, but she just slept in our room.
Potty trained? Yes.
Chewer/destructive? No, but loves stuffed animals and carries them around – doesn’t chew them.
Separation Anxiety from people when left alone? No.
Vocal? Only when dogs go by her house, but not much.
Behavior on leash when walking near lots of people/dogs? Good.
Concerning behavior: None, just paces at first and weary of men.
Best in the busy City or rural calm or doesn’t matter? Probably doesn’t matter.
