Gabby is approx. 5 years old, female, 45 lbs., vetted, and is or will be spayed. She loves food & treats, loves to go for car rides, LOVES to play ball (she’s quite the catcher), and is looking for her Hero to save her from her current situation in a temp spot surrounded by kennels and barking dogs. This is NOT ideal for her much longer! Gabby has had a rough time and has been the victim over and over and over again. She lost her “family”, she lost her BFF 4 legged sibling when her owner went to jail. Since then she was abandoned in a camper with simply a doggy door to the outside and a fence where she could not see anything but hear everything. Nobody came for her. This poor girl lost it all and we REALLY want to help her find her happily ever after. She cannot get enough love from her humans. She is already trained to sit, sit pretty, lie down, come and stay. She is excellent on leash, she is gentle when taking treats or toys, she doesn’t resource guard at all and is just a beautiful, sweet girl. She has tons of energy and just wants to play and be near people. The family that gets her will be as lucky as she’ll be, so don’t make this girl wait another moment for her forever home! Her history has heightened her sensitivity toward other dogs; she needs to be the only dog with a responsible Adoptive home that will not subject to any situations to fail. We do not know if it is possible for her to learn to trust other dogs again; it would have to be done over time with a professional trainer. She is a happy energetic girl that does have a prey drive (no cats please). Stay tuned for more information as Gabby is a new rescue!
