Freckles is 2 years old (approx. DOB tbd), female, 32 lbs., vetted, is or will be spayed, and micro-chipped. Freckles was found homeless in North Carolina. Because she tested positive for heartworms (has since been treated) , as many dogs we save are, no one wanted her and she was out of time! We couldn’t let this sweet petite little soul perish! She is now ready to make her trip to Vermont! Can her name be any more perfect for her?? Per the shelter staff she takes treats gently and is very well behaved. Freckles tested well with other dogs. She doesn’t wag her tail a lot currently but is extremely affectionate and love to be petted! Stay tuned for more information as Freckles is a new rescue!
