Meet our resident senior, Frankie, who is roughly 12 y/o, female, 50 lbs., vetted, is or will be spayed, and micro-chipped. She ended up at the shelter because her owner passed away and we could not let this sweet girl perish so we saved her. Frankie arrived in Vermont weighing 90 lbs. and is much healthier now having lost over 40 lbs with a healthy diet and balanced active lifestyle! Her ideal home would be one in which her humans are home often and there are no other dogs; she is a diva and prefers all of the attention (even though she lives with her furry foster sister dog)! Frankie loves to go for car rides and be outdoors with her family; with her current foster, she has enjoyed paddle boarding, camping, and walks! She is potty-trained and great with children. Frankie would enjoy a more rural, quiet setting with a yard. She gets scared of loud noises and traffic, but loves to lounge in the sun and roll in the grass! Frankie is incredibly easy to care for, so grateful for her 2nd chance, and ready to find her forever home!
