Flynn is 6 years old (approx. DOB 10-24-15), male, 49 lbs, vetted, is or will be neutered, and micro-chipped.. Flynn and his family were part of a seize in a hoarding situation in North Carolina; their eyes all tell the same story. They are nervous right now because everything is so new, they lost each other and the life they knew. They are at the shelter which is loud, and they are confused.. As with his siblings he is shy, good with non dominant dogs, and can’t wait to learn what true love and care is in a family of his own! Flynn is one of most confused and neglected having loss of fur (which will fully grow back). His ideal family would have another dog but it may not be necessary. Flynn is crate trained, loves car rides and currenting learning to potty outside! He is super loving and very smart. He loves being outside, but has the nose of a hound so maybe a fenced in yard would be ideal. Flynn is medium energy and can play like a pup but also relax like a good ole boy! He will come when called and knows commands such as “no”, “sit” and “crate up”. Flynn is still quite shy about meeting new people, but warms up quickly.
From his VT Fosters “Flynn has had some rough times but is just as loyal and loving as a dog can be. He wants to please and is quite trainable. Flynn will do best in a home with other dogs, not a lot of traffic coming and going., and no cats. He loves the woods and would love a rural setting”.
