“Hello Everyone. My name is Dylan, but I go by Dougie. My foster Dad has been calling me that and I respond. Apparently, I can teach you how to Dougie. When I first got to my foster Dad’s house, I was a little nervous. I was happy to be there but I didn’t really know what to do. I’ve never really gotten good love and rubs, and I’d pull away and was a little skittish. But now, I’m a love and rubs king! Now I trust my foster dad and come to him for rubs every chance I get. I even pop up and rest my chin on his bed in the morning. His alarm goes off and I like to let him know I’m here and ready for a walk. I love to go outside and like to give a gentle whine while he’s getting my lead ready (I think it makes him go faster). When I’m outside I like to do my business first, but sometimes I get distracted by visitors. I’m very social and want to say hi to all the other puppies and people. I really want to play and will bounce around on my lead and am eager to explore new areas. My foster brother is well trained and well behaved, and I want to be that. The Vet says I can’t play hard, but one day I’ll be able to. I love my food and eat it all in one sitting. I love fresh water too, it’s soooo good. Me and my foster brother like to play tug-of-war and I like to steal his babies and collect them on my dog bed. I’m so sneaky! I also like to take naps and just take it easy. My foster dad has to work, so after a nice long morning walk I spend the day lounging around and wait for his return. My foster dad says I’m so good because I don’t go potty in the house. I say, who would? I’ve gotten into a good routine, go potty a couple times a day, play and snooze through the night. My foster family has taught me a lot and has allowed me to be a good dog. I hope this gives you a snapshot of me. I’m a great pup who can’t wait to find my forever home. I’ll be the best doggie ever!”
