Dolly is 2 years old (approx. DOB 1-25-18), female, 48 lbs., vetted, is or will be spayed, and micro-chipped. Per her SC foster family: She’s come a long way in a short time. She’s not a typical discarded hunting dog because she has some manners and a good desire to please and understands basic commands and what is expected of a house dog! Dolly she is like a country cousin in the city. She was obviously mistreated and malnourished. She has some resource guarding tendencies, but is easily corrected with a “no”. She likes my dogs but seems a bit clueless as how to interact with them. She wants to play and wants her share of toys, but she acts a bit like a bulldozer. Her potty manners are more advanced, but it’s taken her 5 days to get the hang of the doggy door (which is pretty good)! Finally she can go out on her own, so I opened the door to the front of the house (fenced yard) Currently Dolly is in my studio upstairs and she’s trying to carry my 8 lb free weights around because she thinks that they are toys lol!
