ChiChi is 13 months old, (approx. DOB 9-30-18), female, 35 lbs., vetted, is or will be spayed, and micro-chipped. ChiChi has been a mama dog; we love our mama dogs!! Her entire family of 6 puppies and her mate Drayco were brought to the shelter by animal control through a cruelty case. They were all incredibly emaciated (ChiChi only weighed 23 lbs). A Rescue came into the shelter and took all the puppies and left ChiChi and Drayco to perish. We visited the shelter and pulled both of them! From her VT fosters: ChiChi is doing really well! She is very good in the house, low to medium energy, and comfortable in her crate. She’s peeing and pooping outside regularly. She’s really food motivated and has been easy to train with treats. She’s eating well and gets lots of kibble/treats throughout the day for training, so hopefully that helps her put on some weight. She’s been enjoying walks and doesn’t seem to mind the snow.” Stay tuned for more information as ChiChi is a new rescue!
