Charles 5 1/2 years old (approx. DOB 11-5-13), male, 57 lbs., vetted, is or will be neutered, and micro-chipped. Charles was found as a stray in South Carolina but a good citizen that is a dog lover also did not want to bring him the the shelter so we said yes! He is good with other dogs, does not appear to have a prey drive (may be ok with cats), is sometimes vocal, seems to be potty trained, is crate trained (loves to have a peanut butter kong when he’s crated), and should be good with kids. Charles loves to sniff the ground and the air on his walks; loves to look into the woods and listen to all the sounds. He is a low-medium energy pup and is fine going for walk, loves car ride or enjoys sitting on the couch curled up with you. He is working on his commands; Stay, Sit and responds to his name. He’s not totally aware of his size or personal space…he will step on your feet or grab your hand; He has a 1/2 a tail which is always at attention and wags like crazy! He loves to “hug” and has a very goofy smile. From his Vermont foster: Charles loves people and loves being around the house and prefers taking a nap with you. He loves interaction and positive reinforcement. He needs someone who will make him their everything.
