Buddy will be 4 years old on July 29th, male (approx. DOB 7-29-25), 73 lbs., vetted, is or will be netuered and micro-chipped. According to his current caretaker, Buddy is fantastic with other dogs, cats, and children and has a gentle disposition. Although he can be a bit skittish around strangers initially, he warms up once he feels at ease. He is very snuggly and loves to sleep in a human bed!
It’s worth mentioning that Buddy is not particularly fond of getting into the car, as he’s only ever traveled for visits to the vet and groomers. Additionally, he has a food allergy to beef, so current-ly, he enjoys a diet of dry salmon dog food and tuna fish, which he thrives on.
Buddy loves outdoor activities and would thrive best in an active environment where he can play and explore. He is crate trained and learned how to navigate stairs! Though Buddy has never pooped in the house, he occasionally does pee. Maybe a few times a month. We think this could be from anxiety and assume that probably will go away if he gets into a good walking routine. He will sit for a treat and loves getting his belly rubbed!
