Bo is approx. 3 years old (approx. DOB 12-28-15), male, 50 lbs., vetted, is or will be neutered, and micro-chipped. Isn’t he handsome?? Bo was out of time at a high capacity shelter in Charlotte NC when we pulled him to safety in the knick of time! This handsome boy has undergone Heartworm treatment and is looking for a place to lay his head in Vermont. Because he has been in boarding and we don’t have a lot of information on him we will be conservative in our search so his ideal home would be pet free and given the potential Catahoula mix we feel no small unpredictable energies (kids lol), someone that likes to take walks (he is great on a leash & has to keep his heart rate normal or lower preferred for just a few more weeks!)
NOTES FROM OUR TRAINER: “Bo is awesome!!! He’s super people social, loves to be pet and to play. No signs of resource guarding. Allows full body handling. It’s clear he hasn’t had any real training, but is very food motivated and learned to sit tonight. He takes treats gently. He does have 1 dime sized scar on his right shoulder, a pencil eraser sized scar on one of his front feet, and quite a few small facial scars. He also seems a bit itchy and dry. I think he would be fine with kids. I was able to touch his feet, ears, tail and mouth. He loves to be loved.”
At this time Bo cannot be placed with other dogs. Stay tuned for more information as Bo is a new rescue!
