Blaze is 14 months old (approx. DOB 6-7-18), male, 66 lbs., vetted, is or will be neutered, and micro-chipped. Blaze is good with others dogs! From the volunteers at the shelter:
Lynn: “He walked well on leash taking him out to play group. Very easy to handle. Gave me those eyes when I opened his kennel door so I fell hard for this guy. He may be good sized but super easy to handle. 😍🐾“
Holly: “BLAZE- Great dog! He is very tolerant, low key as far as energy goes, and a big love bug. He also did great on a leash. He’s just a big softie and he corrects really easily”.
In Vermont Blaze is good with other dogs, is crate trained (but doesn’t care for it), potty trained, likes to ride in the car, does not seem to exhibit a prey drive toward other animals (for cat considerations), and is a quieter boy. He does get excited and bark when he sees other dogs on leash; once warmed up and introduced he settles down. Blaze has medium energy, know Sit & Come, loves to play fetch and chew on his bones/toys. Blaze is super fun and snuggly; he loves all people and just wants to be close to you and please you. He’s a really great dog. Stay tuned for more information as Blaze is a new rescue!
