Belvah is 2 years old (approx. DOB tbd), female, 52 lbs, vetted, is or will be spayed; and micro-chipped. Beautiful sweet Belvah was seen being dumped out of a car on a road. by her “family”. We were informed the owners had tried to rehome her but couldn’t find a home so apparently they thought she would do best trying to survive homeless and on her own. !! The fionder went to check on her because it was 23 degrees and Belvah was still setting by the Rd 90 minutes later waiting for her family to come back for her. Thankfully the good samaritan contacted our Rescue partner in NC and she immediately went to get her and was able to obtain a surrender form! She’s a bit timid in new situations but dog friendly, house and crate trained. I Stay tuned for more information as Belvah is a new rescue!
