Barry is 2 years old (approx. DOB 8-7-17), male, 50 lbs., vetted, is or will be neutered, and micro-chipped. Can anyone say happy dog?? If you are missing fun in your life you need Barry! It’s almost as if he knows he got a 2nd chance and is living it up! Barry is the life of the party and loves to run around doing his “zoomies”! He gets along well with other dogs and would love an active lifestyle to enjoy an adventurous life! Barry is crate trained, has medium energy, likes to go for car rides, is a quieter boy, and he loves his toys! Barry knows Sit and is working on Paw & Stay.
From his VT foster mom: “Barry would do best in another home with dogs! HE LOVES DOGS. He loves to play and it would definitely help tire him out. I don’t know how he would do with small children he is very gentle and mostly calm. But he doesn’t really have any regard for stepping- i.e if you were sitting on the couch he would gladly walk all over your face or step right on your gut. He doesn’t pay attention much- so he may be a little rough for some smaller kids. Barry is a sweetheart. He still has a ways to go in terms of listening but I think he is slowly figuring out how to be a dog. In the week we have had him he has improved SO much so I think he can only go up. He’s a little crazy and gets the zoomies at bad times but other than that he is a very easy and loving dog!” Stay tuned for more information as Barry is a new rescue!
