Baloo is 18 months old (approx. DOB tbd), male, 53 lbs., vetted, is or will be neutered, and micro-chipped. We found Baloo at the shelter with a leg injury when we saved him! He has had excellent medical care and has no limitations. Baloo is a very smart and treat motivated boy; he loves to learn! He lives with cats and likes to chase them if they run away only to play; he has not shown any negative behavior to them. Baloo has medium+ energy so he likes to play during the day then snuggle and rest at night. He is very outgoing with humans of all kinds; he can be a bit to playful with smaller kids since he is still young and just starting to learn. Baloo likes other dogs and seems to understand pack hierachy. He is potty trained, crate trained, and responds to the energy he is surrounded by. He knows commands: Sit, Stay, No, Down, Crate, and Outside. Baloo loves people. He climbs onto people’s laps and snuggles right in. He has so much love to give and he is very affectionate. He is a big strong boy who wants to be a lap dog. Baloo will do best in a family with teens and older who are patient during his transition and willing to work with him. He has learned so much during his time in foster care in NC and like most dogs, needs to continue his training. Stay tuned for more information as Baloo is a new rescue!
