Bailey is 2 1/2 years old (approx. DOB 4-16-17), female, a great size at 36 lbs., vetted, is or will be spayed, and micro-chipped. We met Bailey during our visit to the shelter in NC on 10-24-19; she was found by someone as a homeless stray. Bailey was a happy wiggle butt at the shelter when we met her. She did very well with her doggy intros and is good with other dogs. Bailey seems to be a petite boxer mix (not sure without DNA test) that is a great size and has medium energy. She never meets a stranger wherever she goes. Bailey liked to stop and visit other dogs at the shelter as she passes their kennels. Bailey is sure to be active for many years to come so she would love a home with a family or BFF that enjoys playtime and the outdoor activities. From Bailey’s new foster mom in VT after 2 days in a new home: “She is crate trained and hasn’t had any accidents. She is very happy and loves everyone and everything. She is still learning how to play with other dogs but gets along well with them. Good with kids and good with cats (she ignores ours).
