LocationShelburne, VT

Archer is 4 years old (approx. DOB 10-19-18), male, 54 lbs., vetted, is or will be neutered, and micro-chipped. We found Archer on the Adoptables floor at the shelter! He was found as a homeless stray in North Carolina with facial injuries (unknown source). which caused swelling around his eye to his ear.

He was treated at the Vet and is healing well. Despite whatever happened to Archer he is a sweet boy that tested well with other dogs, is happy bpy as you can see from his smile, is socially outgoing with people, and takes treats gently! Archer did well at the Vet! Per shelter comments: “Non-reactive passing other dogs in kennel. Met another intact female Pit bull and both were very interested in engaging in play. No negative reactions from either animal. “

Per his foster in VT: Archer is crate trained, likes to ride in the car, has a prey drive toward yard animals so probably no cats, is potty trained, a quieter boy, and has low-medium energy. He knows his name, Sit, Stay, and is working on Stay! Archer is very good about sleeping while at home and relaxing. He loves to play fetch but isn’t always great about returning the ball yet. He really enjoys running around and being chased. He also loves rope toys that he can break/chew up and playing tug.

Stay tuned for more information as Archer is a new rescue!
