Sophia is 3 years old (approx. DOB tbd), female, 41 lbs., vetted, is or will be spayed, and micro-chipped. Poor Sophia was abandoned at the shelter by her family. She arrived with ringworm and ear infections which have since been treated. While being treated for her medical considerations Sophia had to stay in isolation for quite awhile and didn’t get to socialize. She had been at the shelter since December 2021! She was SO sad. Sophia is shy and introverted in new situations; and gets along well with other dogs. She is very sweet soul! Her current caretaker says she is a much happier girl out of the shelter; she is social, has not exhibited a prey drive (may be ok w cats but unknown), has medium energy, is crate trained (good in her crate), and seems potty trained. Sophia is good on leash, loves to run and play like a bunny, and makes the cutest noise when she is excited which you can hear at the end of her video!
